We are taking our fight to the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff
URGENT CARDIFF UPDATE: The Police have decided, at the last hour, to ban us from having wood placards, poles or sharp corners. Material, cardboard & corrugated plastic banners / placards are permitted so please modify yours tonight if you need to.
‘March on Cardiff’ Tshirts, Placards and Banners will still be available at the Welshpool Coach Departure point on the 24th and on immediate arrival at Cardiff (please let your Coach Leader know whilst on-route).

0640hrs – Arrive at your booked Coach Departure points
0700hrs – Coaches depart as per booking times (Facilities break at Junction 33)
1100hrs – Arrive at the Welsh Assembly Senedd Building, CF99 1NA
1130hrs – Welcome Nick Larder & his fellow walkers who have walked from Welshpool
1145hrs – Move approx 100 yards to the Senedd steps for the main protest rally
1200hrs – Russell George AM for Montgomeryshire will make an opening address
Glyn Davies MP will make an address as to why we are gathered here
Sian Lloyd who is great supporter of the cause
Myfanwy Alexander (you will not be disappointed listening to Myfanwy)
Mid & West Regional Assembly Members (Labour, Plaid Cymru & Lib Dems)

Coaches are currently available from: Llanidloes, Newtown, Kerry, Tregynon, Cefn Coch, Abermule, Llanfair Caereinion, Welshpool, Four Crosses, Llanymynech, Trefeglwys, Carmarthenshire. Please click here to book your place.
All Coaches will need to be parked in the Bus Lane on Lloyd George Avenue which gives ideal access for the Millennium Centre and Oval Basin (Roald Dahl Plass) Details
Driving: The nearest car park to the Welsh Assembly, that accepts normal payment methods, is the Mermaid Quay car park. Please be aware that other car parks in the area may only take Special Parking Tokens. If you do decide to drive then please try and take a full car rather than driving alone.
Train: Please check the online booking site www.thetrainline.co.uk for times and prices.
It’s probably a good idea to bring some food and drinks with you, and maybe a coat just in case, we will be in Wales after all!
